About the Role

At North Windham Animal Hospital, we are proud to provide high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our dedicated team and support the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice.

 

As the Hospital Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture that prioritizes patient care, team collaboration, and client satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for managing hospital operations, staff development, and business performance, while helping to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

 

We believe in mentorship and coaching as the cornerstone of our leadership approach—your ability to support, develop, and empower your team is essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the hospital to ensure efficiency and compliance

  • Support and mentor team members to uphold a positive workplace culture

  • Manage financial performance, including budgets, P&L statements, and key performance indicators

  • Perform HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee relations

  • Implement and maintain hospital policies and procedures

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized hospital environment for patients, clients, and staff

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a management or leadership role preferred

  • Empathy and respect for pets, clients, and colleagues

  • Ability to understand and respond to financial reports and performance metrics

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Commitment to maintaining professional, constructive relationships with the team, clients, and vendors
